State: OH
The Rocky River is a relatively short river which forms the western boundaries of the cities of Cleveland and Lakewood, Ohio. It contains numerous species including smallmouth bass, carp and steelhead.
I have been fly fishing for the last 12 years. I grew up fishing steelhead on Rocky River and learned fly fishing there. Last year I moved to Indiana and started exploring the excellent smallmouth opportunities here and go out to Sugar or Big Walnut once a week and Eagle Creek whenever I can on weeknights.
